QIDP (Qualitied Intellectual Disabilities Professional) Certification Course

QIDP Training â€“ NEXT OFFERING BEGINS JANUARY 25, 2019 - PLEASE REGISTER BY 1/17/2019

The Department of Human Services has mandated this 40-hour Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) training as a requirement for all QIDPs. Anixter Center's course meets the DHS standards of instruction. Anyone is welcome to apply for the course, but applicants should be aware of the requirements for participants.  Please contact DHS or the Anixter Center Training Department prior to registering to ensure training participant meets qualifications.  Here is a link to the application which includes the requirements: https://www.dhs.state.il.us/onenetlibrary/12/documents/Forms/IL462-0130.pdf

Next QIDP Training begins January 25, 2019 – DEADLINE FOR JANUARY CLASS REGISTRATION – THURSDAY, JANUARY 17TH

Classes will occur every Friday from 2pm to 6pm beginning on January 25, 2019 and ending on March 22, 2019.  Friday, March 29, 2019 is scheduled as a tentative makeup date in the event of any emergency class cancellations. Classes will be held at the Anixter Center offices located at 6610 N. Clark Street in Chicago.  ALL QIDP TRAINEES MUST ATTEND ALL 9 MODULES and COMPLETE THE FINAL EXAM IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE CERTIFICATION. 

The fee for the complete 40 hours of instruction is $850 per person.  We offer a discounted rate of $600 to any additional persons registered for the same course offering by the same agency/entity. Upon completion of the 40 hour training, Anixter Center will provide the participant with a certificate of completion.
